Alison Freer

Alison founded Thinkfreer in 2000 after 10 years working in industry for BAE and Trinity Mirror Group and in the consulting sector. With a career background in HR management, Alison first began leadership coaching in 1998, working widely with public and private sector clients. Alison's coaching specialisms include: leading change; creating effective, collaborative partnerships; constructive conflict management and career fulfilment. Alison is an experienced programme manager and takes a lead on directing the delivery of large-scale coaching and development projects for clients.

Alison's clients in the private sector include Nike Europe; BAE Systems – Land Systems; Granada Learning; Siemens; and Bond Solutions. Within the public sector, Alison has a long track record of working with leaders in a wide range of NHS clients, including many clinical, medical, dental and nursing leaders in the primary and acute health sectors.

Alison is also a founding director of Lead & Transform where she works as a coach and organisation development consultant to IT leaders and professionals.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the Association for Coaching, Alison is also a British Psychological Society qualified psychometric assessor for personality assessment tools including 16PF, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Lifestyles Indicator (LSI) and the Aston Team Performance Indicator (ATPI).
