Nexus (Passenger Transport Executive)

Nexus is responsible for planning the public transport needs and managing the service provision across Tyne and Wear. In a complex operating environment the organisation has undergone significant organisation change to meet exacting service and funding standards. As part of a wider programme of business transformation, the IT department needed to change the way that it worked and to achieve greater influence over the way technology led projects were implemented.

Thinkfreer delivered a coaching programme for managers and team members within the IT department with a focus on leading transformative change within a critical central business function, As well as developing the individual and team effectiveness skills within IT, our clients were able to apply themselves more effectively to the IT-led business projects they were required to deliver. The impact of our work was earlier involvement of IT in key business projects and better delivery of business benefits from those projects.
